If you want search engine such as Google and Bing knows your blog, thus, you must help them, too.
How do you help them? Well, first your must be registered by them and you submit your sitemap to them. To get index well there are way to do.
If you have less than 500 posts, input:
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
If you have more than 500 posts (said 2,353 posts), then input:
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=501&max-results=500
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1001&max-results=500
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1501&max-results=500
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=2001&max-results=500
